Last week the 6th edition of the Selvedge Run was a huge success. The location of the Selvedge Run switched to a new location. The new location, The Marshall-Haus, is located in the West part of Berlin. The Marshall-Haus is an architectural location designed by Bruno Grimmek. This unique building was opened in 1950 for the German Industries Exhibition. It was used by the USA as its pavilion. It has enjoyed protection as a listed building since 1988 and was re-opened for the IFA in October 2008 by Messe Berlin following extensive renovation.

100 unique brands under 1 roof

Around 100 unique brands where exhibiting at Selvedge Run. Check out the complete brandlist hereKey aspects of the brands are authentic, durable and handmade in their own way. Slow fashion products that are made for a lifetime. Most of the products only get better with wear. The products were a divers range of products as jeans, footwear, magazines, books, jackets, jewelery and other accessories. There were so many beautiful products under one roof and we were proud to be a part of it for the third time. The trade show feels like a family with the same likeminded spirits. Must visit if you’re into brands as Red Wing, Momotaro, Nigel Cabourn, Indigofera, Fleurs de Bagne, Hansen, Indigo People, Merz B. Schwanen, Ondura, Stevenson Overall, Studio d’Artisan, Tellason, Viberg, Wrenchmonkees to name a few.

We also gave a very early sneak preview of our new upcoming project: our worker boots. Our upcoming worker boots, made with the Goodyear Welted construction, are a perfect addition to our existing handmade boots. We will lauch these boots within a few months in natural and brown leather. Keep an eye on this one as they’re very special!
